In 1994 we began creating websites. Those days seem to be far away in the dim and very distance past. Very few in number had embarked upon a website and predictions were that billions of dollars would be created in online sales.

We took a view in 1996 that 'everybody' will become internet and website designers and predicted the sales of website wizards and DIY kits. We chose not to expand as website designers but to develop a backup service for in-house designers and small businesses..

At the time Peter Yexley (the Web Doctor) was a director of a British plc publishing house with some 20 years in marketing and advertising. Peter saw the Internet as the next logical step forward in publishing. Interestingly, Peter was the co-founder of one of Britain's very first e-publishing businesses.

It was simple (in theory) to transpose a traditional catalogue or brochure from how we know it, to a website based model.

It had its problems, the world wasn't ready for e-commerce and credit card sales were only just approaching the millions of dollars our financial experts promised. However, websites were being born and the Web Doctor became busy fixing, repairing and most of all promoting.. Peter Yexley became a Google Expert, not overnight but after many years of SEO and website marketing.
